Martens Plumbing & Heating is seeking a motivated and experienced Wisconsin State Licensed Apprentice (3+ years of experience) or Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. About the Role:

As a Plumbing Technician with Martens Plumbing & Heating, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and improving plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients. Your expertise and professionalism will ensure we continue delivering the exceptional service our customers know and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service calls promptly, handling plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and present effective solutions.
  • Repair or replace fixtures such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
  • Clear clogged drains, pipes, and sewer lines using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Perform inspections and routine maintenance to prevent future issues.
  • Install new plumbing systems and components in compliance with local codes and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and offer recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate service records, detailing parts used and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in the plumbing field.
  • Licensing: Wisconsin State Apprentice License (required); Wisconsin Journeyman License (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and codes.
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional diagnostic abilities and proficiency with plumbing tools.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

  • Driver's License: Valid license with a clean driving record.
